While the East Coast was trying to escape the wintery rain/flurry mix that's happening (bleh), tonight the fashion kids across the pond were busy feting the very best models, designers, and more at the British Fashion Awards. Sponsored by the British Fashion Council, the event is the London-based counterpart to America's CFDAs, so you can bet it serves up plenty of style inspiration— even for those of us stuck stateside. Case in point: just LOOK at this killer trio of stars above, each working their own versions of the shimmery solid dress crafted by Brit designers. Hot off her epic 22nd birthday, Rita Ora lead the pack in a teal number courtesy of Vivienne Westwood. The awards may have been at the Savoy in London, but Rita had the Old Hollywood glam down pat with her corseted strapless top, fishtail silhouette, and subtle sheen. Also, it must be noted- Rita Ora is NOT wearing her trademark red lipstick! She's decided to swap bold lips and instead focus on her dramatic smoky eyes, and duh, looks fantastic.
There's no question we're obsessed with Cara Delevingne in this office, and we're pumped to see the rest of the fashion world is just as into her gorgeous AND goofy ways as we are. The 20-year-old nabbed the Model Of The Year prize (NBD) last night, wearing head-to-toe Burberry. Whereas Rita went for an old-school mermaid look with her gown, Cara channeled a futuristic Ariel in her metallic green minidress. Fellow model Jourdan Dunn rounded out the threesome decked in in...drumroll, please...TOPSHOP! She repped the retail giant perfectly, looking like a million bucks in a slick midnight blue gown and minimal makeup.
